Today is the first day of 2011 to reach 100 degrees...

Well...today is my birthday..........

...dinner @ the Landmark with Hub and 'all my darlins' was it's usual deliciousness...

...thanks babies, for taking time out to be with your old mom...

...and all the fun gifts and cards...

...a 'carnation cupcake' from Dayla...love it!!

Hub came through with flowers & dark nuggets w/almonds...

(since it's raining, we're going shopping for my lemon tree another day...)

I also received lots of emails, cards and phone calls...

I'm just grateful that I'm having another birthday...

...but...

I'm trying not to dwell on it....

and strawberries...

Here is what I hope is the beginning of a large crop...

...and the mighty harvest...hee!

I think our broccoli has pretty much gone to seed...

(or maybe it has just gone to flowers)

...it still looks pretty though...

...we are trying to get all we can from it...

(I wonder if the flowers are good for you...they taste pretty good...)

I think the kids quite enjoyed them...

...it also makes a fun toy...

Liddy gets going pretty fast...

So Ang decided she wanted to make a 'pillow turkey' for a friend's birthday...

...she solicits my help...
