Les Miz...

It's not that nothing happened in June...
I'm just slow in posting...

Kevin and Rusty are missing in this picture...

I guess they were still trying to find a parking space...

'Les Miseràbles' has always been one of our family's favorite productions...
The story line is so poignant & moving and demonstrates great examples of love and sacrifice...

...not to mention, the music & lyrics are

awesome, tremendous and simply amazing!!!

...we always go when we get the opportunity...at least up until now...

While the music score was still very impressive, with new & unbelievable performances and the stage scenery was detailed & realistic, the new director had included a few (one in particular) very graphic scenes that left a cloud of negativity and trepidation for the remainder of the production.

Why can't everyone just 'seek after things that are virtuous, lovely and of good report'...?

oh yeah...that agency thing...sigh

They are awesome, talented and very supportive...
I recorded our rendition of one my favorite Christmas songs,
"Add One More Voice"
which was part of our
Sacrament Meeting Christmas Program
on December 19, 2010...
You can listen to this recording here:

Some good friends,
Mark & Margaret Wright,
brought their family to carol us
on Christmas Eve...pretty awesome...

...a sample of their singing 'Mele Kalikimaka': (one daughter goes to BYU Hawaii)

Easter Pageant

The Easter Season brings back a memory from the 2007 Easter Pageant 3 years ago...

Angie, Dave and I were participants which was an awesome spiritual experience that changed my perspective on the life of Christ, his atonement for us and his example on how we should live our own lives.

Dave was a 'Jesuit Priest in the Temple' and Angie and I were women 'followers of Christ'... The experience was short but intense: a total of 4 weeks with either rehearsals or performances every day except Sunday and Monday...

One of the sweetest memories was that of witnessing some of the miracles that Jesus performed to the people he taught and loved...it felt as if we were right there when it actually happened.

The only downside is that each year now as I watch the pageant I wish I had taken the time and effort to get involved...

...maybe again someday...

...learning from Christ...

...Priests in the Temple...

...Roman soldiers...yes, that's Deus Lutui
(pro football player for the Arizona Cardinals...)

...angels in waiting...

...more Priests...the costumes were awesome!

...some Wolford followers of Jesus...

...unforgettable experience!

"I got you, Babe!"

Yeah...that's us....Sonny (Dave) and Cher (Priscilla)...
This was a (not so) talent show we hosted 4 yrs. ago-
I'm posting this because it depicts pretty much what brought us together in 1975...
- music and Dave hamming it up -
(and I know you all want to see Sonny and Cher @ 50+)
I took our pre-wedding pics to the cabin so you'll have to wait until I go get them and scan them to my computer to get the 'real' picture of the "goin' courtin'" time... (something to really look forward to...)
