“True doctrine, understood, changes attitudes and behavior. The study of the doctrines of the gospel will improve behavior quicker than a study of behavior
will improve behavior.”
– Boyd K. Packer
( Conference Report Ensign, Nov. 1986)
This is one of my favorite all-time quotes...I have read it,
pondered it, and quoted it...
I hope that I am trying to live it...
Recently, Hub & I have discussed the possibility that our life is not everything that we want it to be...we are recognizing the fact that maybe somewhere through the years, we have become somewhat complacent in our relationship(s) and need to consider the principles of sacrifice, obedience, and consecration

more in our everyday lives.
Reveling in our comfort zones has been a luxury that we no longer want to entertain because it stagnates growth...while we can & should be accepting of our station in life, we should also be continuously trying to do our best in whatever we do. If we don't like our circumstances, we can work to change them....but our circumstances does not make us who we are.
This is not to say that we cannot enjoy life...quite the opposite...another favorite quote:
"...in all of living, have much of fun & laughter.

Life is to be enjoyed, not just endured."

Suffice it to say that we should be "accountable for our choices, compassionate in our actions,
and charitable in our hearts..."
....and I am not going to think this deep for a very long time...or at least until tomorrow...
