Ethan and Lydia are playing on the same soccer team...

...in the Gilbert Youth Soccer Association (GYSA) with their dad, Kevin, as their coach...

Kevin (the 'dad coach') was a 'huge' soccer star in his growing-up years...he is so patient with all of these 'new, little learners'... (I should take the opportunity to brag about my kids more...they are so cool...)

It's not important that 'the Dragons' scored 2 goals for the other team...what is important is that 'the Dragons' scored 2 more legitimate goals and Lydia assisted on the first one & Ethan scored the other one!
Lydia is the youngest on the team and being the only girl,
she holds her own pretty well...
Ethan (on the other hand) is the coolest & is a 'ready machine'...

(they can't touch the ball...but they can coach from the field)

ReplyDeleteI have some grandkids that play soccer too! You'd think living in Mexico I'd know all about soccer but I don't! I even have a daughter in law that played college soocer! But actually.... except when my grandkids are playing, I think it's a pretty boring game!!! lol! One of my little grandsons is of the same opinion! Frank & I went to one of his games! Right during the game, he pulled a chocolate chip cookie out of his pocket and sat down in the middle of the field to eat his snack! It was hilarious! But it is so fun to watch little darlin's you love hussle their little buns around the field!!
